Jessica Maria MacFarlane is a native Houstonian, history buff, video gamer, cinephile, book lover, and passionate dance enthusiast. She graduated in May 2015 from Texas State University with a BFA in dance studies and a writing minor.
In order to create new work, choreographers need two things: time and space. Most dancemakers have to choose one or the other, resulting in less than fully realized work.
