BYOB Policy Change in Arts District

Audiences enjoying performances under the stars at Annette Strauss Square will now be able to bring their own wine, patient beer and alcoholic beverages. A new ruling by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission allows guests to BYOB to most lawn and seating areas in Strauss Square, click the outdoor performance venue at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Guests can now bring their own picnic baskets as well. This will begin with the GIPSY KINGS concert on May 2.

Alcoholic beverages will still be for sale in separated area on the elevated porch, but according to TABC rules those drinks must be consumed within that defined area.

The GIPSY KINGS will perform in Strauss Square on Wednesday, May 2 at 8 pm.
