For more than 40 years, TITAS/Dance Unbound has been bringing in dance companies that entertain, educate, and inspire Dallas audiences, and its 2024-25 season is no exception.

During the pandemic, Dallas’ TITAS/Dance Unbound truly embraced digital performance and streaming.

After a shortened 2021-22 season, TITAS/Dance Unbound is roaring back for its first full, live season since the pandemic. That’s 10 companies, hailing from four countries, with five making their Texas debut.

During the first part of its 2021-22 season, TITAS/Dance Unbound treated Dallas audiences to U.S. and Texas premieres, reimagined cultural icons, exuberant Latin dance, and even pieces choreographed to the music of R&B legend D’Angelo.

The name of TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND’s new season—its first full return to live performance since the pandemic—packs a punch.

The dance company Pilobolus has many missions: to tell stories with the human form, to test the limits of human physicality, to explore the beauty and power of connected bodies.

Since its founding in 1982, TITAS has been all about bringing the best of the arts to North Texas. The 2020-21 season had been planned to expand upon this mission by featuring, for the first time ever, an all-American lineup of visiting dance companies—until the coronavirus happened.

TITAS stands for Texas International Theatrical Arts Society, but not since the 1999-2000 season has the presenter put so many international acts on stage.

Dallas is a strong dance city for many reasons, TITAS Presents at AT&T Performing Arts Center being one of them.
