If you’re a Dallas trained artist, chances are if you haven’t worked with Roger Winter personally, you know someone who has. The legendary teacher has been molding the minds of Dallas and Fort Worth artists since he opened his first painting class 53 years ago. This month Kirk Hopper Fine Art pays homage to the man with a show featuring work by a selection of 45 of Winter’s students including John Alexander, David Bates and more. Show runs through Oct. 25.
